HUMBLE BEGINNINGS

Our History

What started as a homeschooling journey for a family for the last 10 years, extended to include a wider circle of family members. Today, we’ve extended our homeschooling journey to other families who shares the same vision to educate their children to grow physically, intellectually, socially and spiritually that they may serve the world.  

Our Faculty

Our faculty consists of experienced educators and professionals who are passionate about their fields and committed to providing the best possible education to our students. We carefully select our faculty members based on their expertise, teaching experience, and dedication to their craft. Our faculty members are not only experts in their fields but also caring mentors who provide personalized guidance to our students.

Our Partnerships

We are an affiliate with the world-wide Seventh-day Adventist church and school network as a Centre of Influence. The Seventh-day Adventist educational system includes elementary schools, high schools, colleges and universities in countries around the globe.

Our Mission

  Cornerstone Academy exists to win the hearts of children to a lifetime relationship with Christ through a valued educational program. It is the mission of Cornerstone Academy to equip students to thrive spiritually, academically, socially, and physically that they may serve the world.

Our education is based on faith

We have a desire to know God better and experience Him more in our daily lives. All students are encouraged to have a relationship with Jesus, who they come to know through daily spiritual emphasis and weekly worship services.


The Bible also prompts us to consider the balanced development of the whole person: their mental, physical, social and emotional wellbeing.


We promote a healthy lifestyle, free from alcohol, nicotine and illegal drugs. An extension of this health emphasis is our vegetarian canteen.

Our values and principles are upheld in our academy and we expect a high standard of conduct both inside and outside of the academy.


Our spiritual development programs, daily interactions and discipline all focus on helping families raise children to become responsible, mature and well-rounded young adults.

We have a positive and supportive learning community
Our student population is made up of students from diverse backgrounds. We teach respect for other cultures, promote compassion, and embrace every individual in our community. 


We also encourage our students to learn to the best of their ability and reach for excellence. Teachers instruct to suit a variety of learning styles and interact positively with students.


Lessons are designed to help students add new competencies and deepen their critical thinking skills.
